My anti-drug? No, not quite. I have had a few experiences with literally breathing in my sweaters and scarves. After much coughing and airway difficulty to the point of dizziness, I have learned that knit materials near the nose and mouth can be inhaled. This happens when the knit is made with short fibers, which can come easily detached and make their way into your airway.
Note to self: more time in pashmina scarves and less time in cashmere sweaters.
